Foster Home Update!
My Foster Mom was so happy to learn that I can be left alone in the house and
I will act like a perfect gentleman. She left me on 3 occasions to have full run of
the kitchen and basement. I did great! However, I love to be with my foster
brothers so we are still unsure if I would do so well if I didn't have a friend with me......

I'm back with new news from my Foster Family.

These are a few things they have learned in my last 2 days

and 2 nights of staying with them;

* I am 100% House Trained. I will let you know when I need to go out.

* I will go in a create, but really, I am too big for one.

* I LOVE to sleep in bed with you!

* I am a little 'on guard' with new people. It is best if they ignore me at first so I can approach on my own terms.

Introducing.....THE DUKE of H.O.P.E.!
Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog.

My name is Duke and I am a 1 to 2 year old German Shepard mix. I am very tall and a bit ganglly. My ears are floppy, but the rest of me looks 100% GSD. So far it appears to my humans that I am house broken.
I get along with my Foster brothers who are very hyper. Notice that I am off a lead?

We like to run, run, run. But I stay where I can see my Foster Mom and brother's.

Foster Mom says I am the first GSD that she has ever met that has the eyes and ears of 'Snoopy', and the body of a Shepard. My eyes are very sweet and trusting. When you are with me you will have the need to give me lots of hugs. I like to hug back too.

Pemberley, my foster brother, is laying right where I was a few minutes earlier. I don't have a problem sharing my bed and bone. And he was nice enough to let me back on the bed after a few more minutes passed.

I do get interested in 'stuff' outside and would possibly wander. But I like to keep an eye on my humans when I can. Indoors I will follow you into each room, but I settle down for a nap once you sit still too.

Know whats really cool? I don't mind cats. I am kind of afraid of them. If they try to come near me I quick find Foster Mom. If they ignore me, I ignore them.

It was nice chatt'in with you. Hope you take the time to visit www.hopeanimalshelter.org and fill out an application for bringing me into a forever home.
